Summer Internship Opportunities

During the summer months students will be allowed to work during normal business hours. The program will operate on a year round basis with student schedules being restricted to afterschool hours during the school year. 

To qualify, the following criteria must be met:
⦁ Youth must be between the ages of 14-18.
⦁ Be a Glenarden resident.
⦁ Provide written approval for participation from your parent or legal guardian.
⦁ Provide written approval for participation from your school Guidance Counselor or Community Service Coordinator.

Applications may be picked up at City Hall between the hours of:
9:00 am – 4:00 pm, Monday – Friday

Prince George's County Summer Youth Enrichment Program (SYEP)

The Summer Youth Enrichment Program (SYEP) offers County youth and young adults ages 14 to 22 with enriching and constructive summer work experiences in community organizations, private sector companies, and government agencies.
