The City of Glenarden is seeking applicants for the position of Code Enforcement Officer to inspect and enforce local, county and state codes/ordinances.The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical, verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. They must also be self-motivated and able to work well with the public, City officials and staff. The incumbent will report to the City Manager. Minimum qualifications require 3 years of work experience in a code enforcement or similar environment; associates degree required. A combination of training and experience will be accepted in lieu of the education requirement. Valid driver’s license is required throughout employment.
