COUNTY EXECUTIVE ALSOBROOKS ANNOUNCES FY 2022 COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIP GRANT PROGRAM

LARGO, MD – Prince George’s County Executive Angela Alsobrooks announced today that her office is now accepting applications for the FY 2022 Community Partnership Grant (CPG) Program. Approximately $1.6 million in funding is available to eligible non-profits through the CPG program. Local non-profit organizations that provide community-based program initiatives to help foster the growth and development of people and communities in the County are encouraged to apply.

“Our vision is to grow pride and sustainability in our Prince George’s County community by improving the quality of life for our residents,” said Alsobrooks. “In keeping with our guiding principles of integrity, innovation, collaboration and solutions, we have revamped our Community Partnership Grant Program application process to adhere to national best practices and standards.”

Any organization, institution or association incorporated as a non-profit organization as designated under 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code that provides services in Prince George’s County is eligible to apply. However, only one application per organization will be accepted. The deadline for application submission is Friday, November 12, 2021, at 5:00 p.m. Applications, FAQs, guidelines and lists of past recipients are available here.

The Office of Management and Budget (OMB) Grants Management Unit will conduct an internal review of each application submission to ensure that applicants meet all outlined eligibility and documentation requirements. Additionally, the Executive Review Panel will fully evaluate all completed application submissions and present final award recommendations to the Office of the County Executive for final approval and funds disbursement. Applications will be date and time-stamped by OMB personnel upon receipt. Applications submitted after the deadline of November 12, 2021 at 5:00 p.m. will be disqualified from competitive review.

Questions concerning CPG applications should be directed via email to Sheila Curry of the Strategic Partnerships Division at PGNonProfits@co.pg.md.us.
