DEADLINE EXTENDED: Opportunity of a Lifetime: Join Mayor Cashenna A. Cross for a Sports Game Experience!
We are excited to announce the deadline has been extended for a unique opportunity for the youth in our community, courtesy of Mayor Cashenna A. Cross. Mayor Cross is taking six lucky youths, three from middle school and three from high school (grades 6-12), to attend a sports game this season. The options include watching the Washington Commanders, Capitols, Wizards, or Mystics in action!
So, what does it take to be a part of this exciting experience? It's simple – a 500-word essay, creative rap poem, spoken word or artistic colleague visual expression on the topic: "What We Can Do as a Community to STOP THE VIOLENCE." We believe that the voices and ideas of our young residents are crucial in building a safer and stronger Glenarden, and we want to hear your perspective.
