COVID-19 Schools Update Quarantine Guidelines

Prince George’s County Public Schools has released updated COVID-19 protocols in an effort to maintain in-person instruction safely. See new guidelines here. COVID-19 At-Home Rapid Test Kit Distribution

Prince George’s County will begin distributing 25,000 at-home rapid COVID-19 test kits each week through libraries and community centers, beginning this Wednesday, January 12. Test kits are free and residents must show proof of County residency when picking up a test kit. One test kit, which contains 2 tests, will be distributed per person ages 2 years or older, while supplies last. Distribution times and locations are included in the flyer. 

El Condado comenzará a distribuir 25,000 kits de prueba rápida de COVID-19 cada semana a través de bibliotecas y centros comunitarios, a partir de este miércoles 12 de enero. Los kits de prueba son gratuitos y los residentes deben mostrar prueba de residencia en el condado al recoger un kit de prueba. Se distribuirá un kit de prueba, que contiene 2 pruebas, por persona de 2 años o más, hasta agotar existencias. COVID-19 Vaccination Update – Booster Shots

Based on the latest CDC guidance, the County Health Department is now offering booster shots of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine to youth ages 12 to 15. In addition, those who received Pfizer initially should now receive a booster five months after their second dose. COVID-19 Vaccination Update – Additional Doses

Based on the latest CDC guidance, the County Health Department is now offering third doses of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine to individuals ages 5 and up with weakened immune systems. Basado en la última guía de los CDC, el Departamento de Salud del Condado ahora ofrece terceras dosis de la vacuna COVID-19 de Pfizer a personas de 5 años en adelante con sistemas inmunológicos debilitados.
