City of Glenarden, MD

The Glenarden City Council consists of seven Councilmembers who hold office for a term of four years or until their successors take office.  There is one Councilmember Representative for each of the three City Wards and four Councilmembers At-Large.  The City Council is the City's legislative body with the power to enact all ordinances and resolutions.  They adopt and may alter the annual budget and are responsible for the appropriation of issuance of bonds.
